Kinetic and potential energy are the main form of energy. Kinetic energy is energy that is in motion. Potential energy is energy that is store, if an object move and then stop is using potential energy. 

Something important about energy is that energy can neither be destroyed nor created but it can be transform. Kinetic energy can be transform into potential energy.

Mechanical energy is energy that use kinetic energy and potential energy at the same time.

Chemical energy is energy that is released when digestive system breaks down food.

Electrical energy is energy produced by electricity. And finally gravitational energy that is produce by gravity.
